1. Introduction.
Cool Tabs allows you to generate a campaign with several promotions or multi-stage, in which participants can access and participate, each day, in one of the promotions or games.
This functionality allows you to set up, for example, an online Advent calendar in which you carry out daily sweepstakes or a promotion with daily games in which participants accumulate points with each participation.
One of the advantages of campaign groups is that their average configuration via social login (Facebook, Twitter…) allows you to identify the participant from their first participation. This facilitates the participation process for users and reduces the abandonment rate. Their session (and their data) will be registered, and they will not have to register again in the following days.
In addition, you will be able to configure the number of campaigns you want within the campaign group and combine the mechanics you wish (gamification, sweepstakes with registration, instant win…).

2. Ideas and examples.
A group of campaigns will allow you to set up some interesting actions, such as the ones shown below.
- Advent calendar. You can set up the classic Christmas calendar, in an online version, in which participants enter each day to “open” a calendar window and register for a promotion, for example, the daily sweepstakes. In this way, you will be able to run daily sweepstakes. Until the exact date and time you have set up each campaign, users will not be able to participate. You can opt for the classic Advent calendar from December 1 to December 24 or 25, or reduce the days you consider for your brand.
- Multi-game campaign. Launch an action with daily games for your audience. Set up a gamification for each day (Runner, Hidden Object, Hangman…). Participants will be able to enter each day to play and score points. Once your campaign is over, you can make a raffle among all participants or among those who have earned the most points.
- Multi-brand promotions. Organize a multi-brand campaign, with collaborators or partners, with the aim to generate branding, promote products and encourage purchases. The campaign group allows you to set up a promotion for each brand. Users will be able to enter and register in all of them or in the ones they want. In return, they will be able to get discounts on purchases or other benefits, sweepstakes…
3. Step by step.
3.1. Create the campaign.
The campaign group mechanic allows you to group a set of campaigns on a landing page, so first, you will have to create each of these campaigns (quiz, sweepstakes through registration, instant win, gamifications…) individually in your account.

When configuring your campaigns, take into account two aspects:
- Registration: this is how the user will be able to participate. With their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Microsoft/Hotmail, or Yahoo accounts, or anonymously. The social login allows the participant to be uniquely identified for all campaigns, i.e., if he/she registers for one campaign, his/her data will be saved and he/she will be identified when accessing other campaigns of the group. This type of login is necessary for point-based campaigns (whether quizzes or games) in which the participant will be able to earn points every day. The anonymous login (the user writes his email) does not allow this identification.
- Participation date: this is the date that will determine when you can participate. Check the dates of each campaign very carefully. If the participation dates are closed, on the landing page of the campaign group, a notice will appear indicating when the user can access it.
3.2. Create a group of campaigns.
Once you have the different campaigns of the group ready, you have to generate the landing page that will contain the whole group of campaigns.
1) Go to the main campaign list and click on the 'Create campaign' button.
2) Then choose the 'Campaign group' option.
3) Give it a name so that you can identify it internally in the list of your campaigns.
4) Set the time zone it applies to.
5) Select a campaign as the main campaign of the group. There must be the main campaign that will be used to define some properties of the campaign group.
6) Choose a default language and in which other languages it will be available. If you need to, you can later include other languages.
7) Click on 'Continue'.
3.3. Configure the campaign group landing page.
3.3.1. Basic data.
In this section, you can change the internal name, time zone, and language. In addition, here, you should determine the dates on which the campaign group landing page will be visible to users.
3.3.2. The campaigns of the group.
In the following section, add all the campaigns that will be part of the group of campaigns.
Add all the campaigns of the group. Find the campaigns for your account in the selector and select it. Give it a title that will be displayed publicly. This can be the game's name, the prize to be raffled, and the day…
You must also select an image that will illustrate the campaign on the landing page. This image must be square.
3.3.3. Design.
In this section, you can customize the appearance of the landing page.
- Basic data: you can choose to include a title, a description, an image or prepare a creative that already includes text.
- Images: upload the main and the background image to be displayed on desktop and mobile.
- Styles: here you have to define the font and colors of the campaign.
3.3.4. Legal terms.
You can include legal bases for the group's campaigns as a whole. In addition, in each campaign, you can include your terms and conditions, as well as the different inputs you need for different purposes of the use and processing of the data collected.
Finally, click on 'Save' or 'Save and preview' the applied configuration.
