In Cool Tabs, you have the possibility to integrate Google Analytics with your campaign, so you can track the visits it receives (where the traffic comes from, and how they behave...). To do this, you need the tracking ID Analytics provides when setting up a web property.
When you enter this code in the 'Cookies & Tracking code' section of your campaign edition, you will tell Analytics the account and the property to which the data should be sent.
Take into account that, as of July 1st, Google will stop processing data from Universal Analytics (UA) properties. Therefore, it is necessary to migrate to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) before that date. When you create an Analytics account, you create a Google Analytics 4 property, with a measurement ID (G-), instead of a Universal Analytics (UA-).
The Google Analytics tracking ID is an identifier, similar to G-XXXXX.
Here's how to get the tracking code provided by Analytics.
2. Step by step.
Log in to your Analytics account or create a new one.
When creating an account you will have to fill in certain information about it: name, domain, business category, as well as time zone and currency for reporting.
To find your ID:
1) Go to https://analytics.google.com
2) Click on the Admin section.
3) Choose the Account and the Property for which you want to get the ID.
4) In the Property column, click Data Streams.
5) Click the data stream.
6) Select a data stream from the list.
7) In the Web stream details, you will find the ID.
