We have expanded the visual customization options for campaigns so you have more control over the appearance of the form, the quiz, and the typography, without needing to touch CSS. Additionally, we have reorganized the Design editor to make it easier to find each setting.
Below we explain what has changed and where to find each new option.
1. New Design Editor
The Design > Styles tab has been reorganized into three sections so you can easily find each setting.
Colors: primary color, secondary color, background, and text.
Font: font type and a new checkbox to prevent button text from being transformed to uppercase.
Buttons and elements: rounding, shadow, transparent background, and circle radius.
2. Uppercase Text
Until now, button text was always displayed in UPPERCASE. From this update, you have two new checkboxes to decide how the text is displayed:
Do not transform button text to uppercase. You will find this in Design > Styles > Font.
Show form labels in UPPERCASE. By default, the text in the data form fields is shown in lowercase. With this feature, you can force uppercase in the labels of the form fields. You will find this in Form > Advanced > Form Styles.
3. Error Colors in the Form
Error messages are displayed when the user tries to proceed without correctly completing what is requested. For example:
In the form, when attempting to submit without filling in a required field or with an invalid format (e.g., a poorly written email).
In the quiz, when trying to advance without selecting any option.
Within Form > Advanced, you will see a new box called Form Styles with two configurable colors:
Background color of the error messages.
Text color of the error messages.
In this same box, the existing checkbox “Use placeholders instead of labels” and the new checkbox to show labels in uppercase have also been grouped.
4. Feedback Colors in the Quiz
If you have enabled the checkbox “Feedback message after answering” in your quiz, a new box will appear in Quiz > Advanced called Feedback Colors in the Quiz with six configurable colors.
Correct answer: background color and text color.
Incorrect answer: background color and text color.
Generic feedback: background color and text color.
5. Advanced Options: New Variables
In addition to the editor options, we have added several new CSS variables that give control over specific campaign elements: form fields, legal bases pop-up, cookie banner, consent manager, rating stars, and swipe buttons.
These variables do not appear in the editor; you must include them from the campaign’s custom CSS.
If you have any questions about how to apply any of these options to your campaign, contact us at help@cool-tabs.com, and we will help you configure it.
