Until now, some platform texts were fixed by default and could not be modified from the campaign editor (button texts, error messages, etc.). Starting today, that changes.
The Text Catalog is a new section within your account settings that centralizes all those default texts and allows you to freely edit them.
It works like an editable glossary. Each entry corresponds to a specific interface text that you can modify as you wish. Additionally, you can create and save catalogs with different combinations of customized texts and assign them to the campaigns you need.
What can you customize?
From the Text Catalog, you have access to all the copies that are part of the participant’s experience and that until now were not editable. For example:
Names of the fields in the participation form (name, email, phone, etc.)
Text of action buttons ("Participate," "Send," "Continue," etc.)
Error and validation messages ("This field is required," "The email is not valid," etc.)
Notices and warnings to the participant during the campaign flow
Any other text that appears in the public interface
What advantages does it offer you?
Greater control and brand consistency
With the Text Catalog, you can replace the platform’s generic texts with those of your brand: the vocabulary your customers use. The result is a campaign that feels much more yours and integrated with your identity.
Adaptation to the target audience
Is your campaign aimed at a young audience? Replace a cold "Enter your email address" with a "Leave us your email!" Without changing anything in the design, the tone changes completely. The same applies if you need to adapt the campaign to a specific market, a specialized sector, or a particular context.
A/B tests on campaign copy
The Text Catalog opens another possibility: testing copy variants directly on the interface texts. Does "I want to participate" convert better or "I'm in!"? Does "Send" or "Claim my prize" work better? Now you can create two versions of the same campaign with different texts, measure the results, and keep the one that works best.
How do you access the Text Catalog?
Log in to your Cool Tabs account > Settings. Access Text Catalog from the left sidebar.
You will be able to create and edit your catalogs and change the texts you want, then apply them to your campaigns.
