At Cool Tabs, we've added new customization options to the Runner mechanic, allowing you to configure multiple images as rewards and bombs, with different probabilities and scores.
What's new?
Rewards and bombs with multiple images
Until now, when configuring your Runner game, you could only include a single image for rewards and one for bombs.
Now, you can configure up to three different images for both rewards and bombs.
Weight configuration for rewards and bombs
Now, each reward and bomb image can have a weight or image priority, determining its probability of appearing. This allows you to define how often each image will appear. Let's look at an example:
If you set these priorities:
- Gold coin image → Priority: 10
- Silver coin image → Priority: 30
- Bronze coin image → Priority: 60
This configuration means there is a 60% chance the next image will be bronze, 30% silver, and 10% gold.
Score configuration for rewards
Previously, every time a participant collected a reward, they earned the same score.
Now, you can assign a specific score to each reward.
Below, you can test a DEMO in which have been configured:
- 3 different images for bonus (gold, silver and bronze bonus) and 2 for obstacles (alien and meteorite).
- Different priority for bonus images (gold 20%, silver 30% and bronze 50%).
- Different scores depending on the bonus (gold +60 points, silver +30 points and bronze +10 points).
We hope these improvements help you customize your Runner game dynamics even further!
