At Cool Tabs, we keep expanding our game catalog.
We’re launching Sort the Letters, a new mechanic designed to test your participants’ mental agility and keep them hooked until the very last second.
What it is
In this game, the challenge is simple yet addictive: rearrange scrambled letters to form correct words or phrases before time runs out.
You can set up different groups of phrases or words so that when a player guesses one correctly, they automatically move on to the next in the configured set.
In addition, the administrator can define these sets of words or phrases and schedule their activation on specific dates, helping to maintain player interest throughout the entire campaign.
Main features
“Word ordering” mechanic: participants must rearrange letters to create correct words or phrases.
Support for multiple sets of words or phrases that can be activated by date.
Scoring based on correct answers (each resolved word) and remaining time.
Set playing conditions: duration and maximum number of games.
Ranking of participants.
Visual customization to match your brand: colors, fonts, and background images.
Compatible with mobile and desktop apps, and fully responsive.
Use cases
New product launches
A food brand can include keywords in the game that describe the ingredients or benefits of a new snack, such as crispy, natural, or flavorful. As players solve them, they interactively discover product attributes.
Thematic promotions
A travel company could set up a campaign with the Sort the Letters game, using sets of tourist destinations or activities, ike beach, hiking, safari, linking them to their holiday destinations or vacation packages.
Sports event sponsorship
During an international championship, such as the Football World Cup, a Basketball tournament, or a MotoGP competition, a sponsoring brand can use Sort the Letters to connect with the audience in a fun, thematic way.
For example, during the Football World Cup, the game could include a set of names of star players (Mbappé, Vinicius, Haaland) or participating teams (Brazil, Spain, Japan). As the tournament progresses, new sets could be activated with the teams advancing to the next round or with the host cities of the matches.
How it works
The user accesses the game and is shown scrambled letters of a word.
Example: “cohocetla” → chocolate. After solving a word, the system moves on to the next term in the preconfigured set.
Points are accumulated for each correct word, and remaining time is rewarded with extra points.
If multiple sets are defined, they automatically change according to the scheduled date.
At the end, the score summary is displayed.
