1. Introduction
The legal terms and conditions are a key informative document: they identify the organizer, define the purpose of the sweepstakes, detail the conditions of access and the prize, and provide information on legislation and taxation.
They're not a mandatory field, but highly recommended. By default, Cool Tabs only includes the General Terms and Conditions as a service provider.
The Legal Terms app lets you create the legal terms for your Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter sweepstakes. You'll get a URL with your legal terms to share with your audience, so users can consult them at any time.
If you created your campaign with the Cool Promo or Cool Promo White Label apps, they already include a built-in field for the legal terms and conditions.
2. Step by step
2.1. Create your legal terms
1. Log in to your Cool Tabs account. If you're not registered yet, see How to create a Cool Tabs account.
2. Create a new campaign by clicking Create campaign. If this is your first time on the platform, you'll be taken directly to the app catalog.
3. Select the Legal Terms app.
2.2. Complete the basic data
Name: identifies the legal terms internally in your campaign list. Not visible to users.
Public title: the title that will head the legal terms page and be shown publicly.
Terms and conditions text: the field for your legal text. Click the information icon next to "Enter your legal terms here" to download our terms template, which you can use as a reference and adapt to your sweepstakes.
2.3. Publish your legal terms
Once your legal terms are ready, you can publish them via the URL generated when you create them.
To access it, go to your campaign list and open the Publish section.
Copy and paste the legal terms public link.
