January 2025 - New Feature: New options to specify the number of columns for quiz responses

At Cool Tabs, we’re continuously improving our tools to give you more flexibility and control when creating your campaigns. We’ve now added a new feature that allows you to customize how responses are displayed in quizzes, surveys, and polls by specifying the number of columns they are shown in.

From now on, when configuring your campaign, you’ll be able to select the number of columns in which responses will be displayed, depending on the type of device being used by the participant: desktop, mobile, or tablet.

How it works

When setting up response options for a quiz, survey, or poll, you can now select the number of columns in which the responses will be displayed.

This option is available for each device type (desktop, mobile, and tablet), allowing you to customize the display specifically for each one. This way, you can optimize how the responses are shown without sacrificing clarity or the visual appeal of the interface.

By default, responses will be displayed as follows:

• Desktop: 2 columns.
• Tablet: 2 columns.
• Mobile: 1 column.

How to configure it

Setting the number of columns is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Access your campaign’s edit mode.
2. Go to the Quiz section and select the question you want to customize.
3. Navigate to the Design tab for the question.
4. In the "Show the answers in columns according to the device" section, enter the desired number of columns for each device (you can choose between 1 and 4 columns).
