2.1. How to enable the list of participants.
2.3. Campaigns with points distribution.
2.4. How to publish the page with the list of participants.
1. Introduction.
The list of participants is usually displayed in photo, text, or video contests, and in gamification campaigns. In this way, the entries are made public so that they can be voted on or so that the participants know their position.
In this tutorial, we explain how to enable the public list of participants.
2. Step by step.
2.1. How to enable the list of participants.
1) Go to the 'Entries List' tab, in the 'Participations' section of the campaign edition.
2) Check the 'Enable public participation' option. The public listing will be activated and the names and avatars of the users who have participated will be displayed.
You can also enable an individual page for each participant, which will show more details about the participant.
3) Determine the number of participants to be displayed per page.
2.2.1. Sort order options.
By default, the entries are sorted by date. But you can choose another configuration.
In gamification campaigns, where a ranking by points is enabled, you should choose the option 'Total points', in voting contests, it is preferable to organize the participants by 'Number of votes' and in referral contests by 'Number of referred users'.
2.2. Photo and video contests.
In photo or video contests, in order to display the content uploaded by the participants, you must activate the option 'Enable content (photos & videos) gallery', which you will find a little further down, in the same section 'Participations' > 'Entries List'.
Below, you can see an example of a public entry list in a photo competition.
2.3. Campaigns with points distribution.
In quizzes with points or gamifications, so that participants can see in the ranking the points scored by the other players, you have to enable the option 'Show scores publicly'.
2.3.1. Quiz with points.
In addition, in the case of having configured a quiz in which points are distributed, in order for these to be displayed correctly, you should review several checks in the 'Quiz' section of the campaign edition.
1) The option 'Quiz with points for correct answers' must be checked.
In this way, participants will accumulate points for correctly answering the quiz questions. You can configure the points you want to assign them in the 'Answers' tab of each quiz question.
If you have any doubts, see the tutorial How to create a Trivia or Knowledge Quiz.
2) The checkbox 'Display participants' own scores', in the 'Entries Page' tab, must be checked.
2.4. How to publish the page with the list of participants.
2.4.1. Display the list of participants on the landing page.
If you have enabled the list of participants, and you have configured that the first page of your campaign to be displayed is the landing page, users will be able to access the participants' page from there.
Below, you can see an example of a photo contest (without voting), in which the public gallery has been activated ('VIEW ENTRIES' button). From the landing page, the button to access it is shown.
2.4.2. Embed the list of participants on a website.
This option to show the list of participants is usually used when the campaign has ended, but you want to show the list of participants so that, for example, the rest of the users can see who users have been the most voted or who have obtained the most points.
To embed the list of participants, from the main list of campaigns, go to the 'Publish' section of the campaign you want to embed.
Then, go to the 'Include the campaign on your site' section. Copy the HTML provided in the 'Entries list' tab.
Please note that if your campaign has already ended, the message that there is currently no active campaign will be displayed. In order to display the participants' page, you must change the campaign end date. To do this, just open the campaign end date from the 'Dates' section of the campaign edition.
Do not worry, because having previously configured an end date to participate and/or vote, users will not be able to participate and/or vote.
2.4.3. Display the list of participants as the first screen of the campaign.
In the 'Basic data' section of the campaign edition, you can set the first page of the campaign to be displayed as the participant's list or gallery. This way, when you publish the URL of your campaign, users who access it will see the entries list.
You can use this option when the campaign has already ended, but you want to show the list of participants so that, for example, the rest of the users can see who users have been the most voted or who have obtained the most points.
Make sure to open the end date of the campaign. Otherwise, the message that there are no active campaigns at the moment will be displayed. Do not worry, because if you have previously configured an end date for participation and/or voting, users will not be able to participate and/or vote.
