2.1. Create your campaign and configure the basic settings.

The first step is to access Cool Tabs, create your campaign, and set the general settings.

2.2. Point-based quiz recommender.

A quiz-type recommender works through a scoring system. Each answer option is assigned a numerical value, which may vary depending on the product or profile being recommended. As the user answers the quiz, the tool adds up the points obtained and, at the end, displays a specific final screen based on the total score or the category with the highest score.

2.2.1. How to configure it.

1. In the campaign editor, go to the Quiz section.

2. Select the point-based quiz mode.

3. Create your questions and add the answer options: multiple-choice selecting one.

4. Assign a different score to each answer option. For example, in a "Find the perfect gift" recommender, for the question "Who is it for?", the answer “Man” may add 1 point; for "What is their style?", "Classic" may add 10, and for "What is your budget?", "Under €50" may add 100.

5. The participant will accumulate points as they progress through the quiz.

6. In the Final Screen section, create a result message for each product or score range. For example, if the user obtained 1+10+100=101 points, configure a screen that will only show to users who selected the options Man Classic Under €50, totaling 101 points.

7. Add the recommended product content on each final screen: image, description, purchase link, or personalized promotion.

2.3. Recommender with logic jumps.

This option branches the quiz. Depending on the user’s answer, a specific question is shown while hiding irrelevant ones. Each path ends with a unique recommendation, creating a more personalized experience.

2.3.1. How to configure it.

1. In the campaign editor, go to the Quiz section.
2. Design your quiz.

3. In the Final Screen section, define the final screens. Include recommended product information (image, description, purchase link).

4. Go to the Logic Jumps section and enable Logic Jumps. Note: Enabling this feature has an additional cost.

5. In “Logic Jumps Editing,” define different paths according to user answers (If A, go to question 2A; if B, go to 2B, etc.). Also define what happens “otherwise” if a condition is not met.

6. Ensure all paths end with a final screen. Validate that there are no “orphan paths” without a result.
