3.3. Set up the Group of Campaigns landing page
1. Introduction
With Cool Tabs, you can create a single landing page that brings together multiple campaigns (giveaways, contests, quizzes, coupon validation, instant wins, etc.) under one URL. This feature is called a Group of Campaigns.
This mechanic lets you run long-term actions where users participate on a recurring basis: they access the landing page on day one, register once, and come back over the following days or weeks without needing to sign up again. This seamless experience is made possible by social login (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Microsoft/Hotmail, Yahoo…), which uniquely identifies each participant across all campaigns in the group from their very first visit.
Some of the most common use cases for this mechanic are:
Advent Calendar: users come back each day to "open" the corresponding window and take part in that day's giveaway or activity.
Multi-game hub: a landing page bringing together several different games or mechanics (puzzle, memory, hangman…) so participants can choose which one to play and accumulate points or entries.
Round-by-round prediction pool: each round is activated as a new campaign within the group, and once it closes, users can no longer change their answers.
Loyalty campaigns: weekly or monthly actions where participants accumulate entries or prizes over time.
Multi-brand promotions: several brands collaborate within the same landing page, each with their own campaign and mechanic.
2. How a Group of Campaigns works
The end result is a single landing page with its own URL that displays all the campaigns in the group as a grid of tiles. Each tile represents an individual campaign and can show a different image depending on its status:
Pending (its date has not arrived yet): the tile appears locked or with a waiting image.
Active (within the participation period): the tile is open and the user can access and take part.
Finished: the tile shows a closing image.
What does the user experience?
Here is the journey a participant goes through from the moment they arrive until they complete their participation:
1. Visits the group landing page. The user arrives at the Group of Campaigns landing page, where they see all the campaigns displayed as a grid of tiles. Each tile has a different visual state depending on the stage of the action:
Pending: the tile is locked because its opening date has not yet arrived.
Active: the tile is open and the user can access and participate.
Finished: the tile shows a closing image.
2. Accesses the active campaign. The user clicks on an open tile. They can only access campaigns whose participation date has already arrived. Pending tiles are not accessible until their scheduled date.
3. Registers. The first time they participate, the user fills in the registration form with their details. They can do so via social login (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Microsoft/Hotmail, Yahoo…) or by entering their email manually. From that point on, the system recognises them across all campaigns in the group, on subsequent visits, they will not need to register again.
4. Takes part in the mechanics. Once registered, the user interacts with the campaign: enters a draw, answers a quiz, plays a game, validates a coupon… depending on the mechanic you have configured for that tile.
5. Sees the final screen. After completing their participation, the user sees the confirmation or result screen. If there is a prize, they are informed at this point. They can then return to the group landing page to see which other tiles are available or wait for the next one to open.
Below you can see an example of what a Group of Campaigns landing page looks like, in this case, an Advent Calendar.
From the administrator's point of view. Each campaign in the group is managed independently: it has its own dates, its own participation mechanic and, where applicable, its own prizes. The Group of Campaigns landing page is simply the container that brings them all together and presents them in an organised way under a single URL.
3. Step by step
3.1. Create the individual campaigns
The Group of Campaigns mechanic lets you bring together a set of campaigns on a single landing page, so the first step is to create each of those campaigns individually in your account: registration-based giveaways, instant wins, quizzes, coupon validation…
Important: if this is your first time creating a campaign in Cool Tabs, the following tutorial walks you through the basic campaign settings and other recommended adjustments to ensure everything works correctly and delivers the best results.
How to get started on creating a campaign: basic settings.
When configuring each campaign, keep these two key aspects in mind:
Registration (login). Define how users will participate: via social login (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Microsoft/Hotmail, Yahoo) or anonymously, by entering their email manually. Social login is the recommended option for Groups of Campaigns, as it uniquely identifies each participant. Once they register in one campaign, their details are saved and they will be recognised automatically when accessing the other campaigns in the group.
Participation dates. Define when each campaign will be active. This determines on which days or periods users can participate in each one.

3.2. Create the Group of Campaigns
Once your campaign or campaigns are ready, create the landing page that will contain them:
1. Go to the main campaign list and select Create campaign > Campaign Group.
2. Assign an internal name to identify it in your campaign list.
3. Set the time zone and the default language.
4. Select a campaign as the main campaign of the group. This campaign is used to define some of the group's general properties.
4. Click Continue.
3.3. Set up the Group of Campaigns landing page
3.3.1. Basic data
Update the name, time zone, and languages if needed. Also, set the dates during which the landing page will be visible to users.
3.3.2. Group campaigns
This is where you add and configure each of the campaigns that will be part of the group.
Add the campaigns. Search for them in the selector and select them one by one.
For each campaign, assign:
A public title visible to participants (e.g., "Day 1 giveaway" or "Special discount").
An internal name to identify it easily from the admin panel.
Access dates. By default, each campaign can be accessed according to its own configured dates. However, you can define specific access periods for each campaign, independent of its participation dates. This way, users can only access that tile on the exact date you set, even if the campaign itself has a wider participation window.
Hide past campaigns. Enable this option to stop showing tiles for campaigns that have already ended as the action progresses. This helps reduce the number of visible elements and simplifies navigation over time.
Images per tile. Upload images to illustrate each campaign within the group. You can set up to three visual states for each tile:
Before it goes live: a waiting image or date announcement.
During the campaign, an image inviting users to participate.
After the campaign ends: a closing image (e.g., "This campaign has ended").
The before and after images are optional. Recommended format: square image (1:1), at least 240 × 240 px.
3.3.3. Design
Customise the overall appearance of the landing page:
-
Basic data: add a title, description, and header image, or upload a creative that already includes the text. See the tutorial: What materials do you need to customize a campaign?
Images: add a main image and separate backgrounds for desktop and mobile.
Styles: configure the typography and colours to keep the overall look consistent with your brand's visual identity.
3.3.4. Legal terms
Include the general terms and conditions for the Group of Campaigns. If any individual campaign requires specific terms, you can also customise these at the campaign level.
When you are done, click Save or Save and preview to apply your changes.
3.3.5. Publish your Group of Campaigns
As a microsite
The Group of Campaigns has a unique URL that you can share on social media, newsletters, and more. Through this link, users will access the group landing page and can participate from any device.

Embedded on a web page
You can also integrate the Group of Campaigns directly into your website or blog using the content widget.

4. Other specifications
Winner selection. You can manage winners for each campaign independently, which is especially useful for actions with daily draws or prizes. To run the selection, see: How to Select a Winner with Cool Tabs Applications.
Which plan do I need? The Cool Promo and Cool Promo White Label applications, included in the Gold and Diamond plans respectively, are what you need to configure a Group of Campaigns. You can also try it out with the 7-day free trial, which gives access to any of the plans.
