2.3. Explain to the agent what campaign you need.
2.4. Review the agent's proposal.
2.5. Define the campaign blocks.
2.6. Review the summary and create the campaign.
1. Introduction.
The AI campaign configurator is a conversational assistant that guides you throughout the entire campaign creation process, proposing decisions about mechanics, prizes, design, data to request, legal terms, and dates directly via chat.
Unlike the traditional form, here you don’t fill out each field step by step: you explain what you need and the agent builds the campaign for you, covering the same aspects you would manually define but in a conversational way.
The assistant shows you its proposal at each step, and you decide whether to apply it, adjust it, or ask for something different. Nothing is saved in your campaign until you confirm it.
2. Step by Step.
2.1. Access Cool Tabs.
Log in to your Cool Tabs account. If you haven’t registered yet, check the tutorial How to Create an Account on Cool Tabs.
2.2. Create the campaign.
2.2.1. Access the AI configurator.
1) Once inside the user panel, create a new campaign by clicking the "New campaign" button or the "Create campaign" option, which you'll find in the left-hand menu. If it's your first time in Cool Tabs, you'll see the app catalog directly.
2) In the app catalog, go to "Lead Generation" - Promotion with form and mechanics and click the "Create campaign with AI" button.
2.2.2. Choose standard or white-label version.
When you click the button, you will be asked to choose between standard version or white-label:
Standard version: includes the "Powered by Cool Tabs" watermark.
White-label: no Cool Tabs branding and allows you to use your own domain.
The availability of each option depends on your plan (Gold or Diamond).
2.2.3. Define initial parameters.
Before starting the conversation with the agent, you are asked to set a couple of basic details:
Main language of the campaign: the language participants will see by default.
Other campaign languages (white-label only): additional languages in which the campaign will be available. You can leave this empty if you only want the main language.
Own domain (white-label only): the domain under which the campaign will be published. This option only appears if you have your own domains configured in your account.
When you have it configured, click Start chat.
2.3. Explain to the agent what you need.
When you click "Start chat," the conversation with the agent opens. The agent will ask you questions, and throughout the chat, you will define the tone and target audience, the landing page design, whether you want to include any game or quiz mechanics, the prizes (if any) and how they are distributed, the data you request from participants, the legal terms, and the dates.
To start, tell the agent what kind of campaign you have in mind and what you want to achieve with it. The more context you provide in this first message (goal, product or brand, mechanics you imagine, prize, target audience), the better the agent's initial proposal will be.
You can describe your campaign, answer the questions the agent asks you, or ask it to rewrite something. When the conversation has covered everything you need, you can type "I have finished and want to create my campaign" to move to the final phase.
Let's see this with an example.
Note: this tutorial follows the conversation thread of a sample campaign (launch of a perfume with an Instant Win mechanic), so the specific questions and their order may vary depending on the type of campaign and the conditions you define. Still, it will help you understand the general operation of the configurator and the type of decisions you will make via chat.
2.4. Review the agent's proposal.
The agent confirms it has gathered the main data from your message. In our example: the brand (Sun Cosmetics), the communication tone (friendly, current, and aspirational), the target audience (women aged 20 to 40), the main campaign message, and the indicated dates (September 1 to 15).
From there, the agent does not propose the entire campaign all at once; it progresses block by block (landing page, mechanics, prizes, form data, legal terms...), asking for your confirmation or input on each before moving to the next. In this case, it starts with the homepage (landing) and asks if you want help drafting the copy (title, description, and call-to-action button) or if you prefer to leave it blank to fill in later when editing the campaign.
The agent makes the proposal, and you can review it directly in the chat. You can keep making adjustments as many times as you need before moving to the next block.
2.5. Define the campaign blocks.
With the landing copy saved (or having skipped that point), the agent moves on to the other blocks. Below we show how each works following our example.
2.5.1. Campaign mechanics.
The agent asks if you want to include any interactive game before registration. You can choose one of the proposed games, ask for other options, or indicate that you don’t want any game and that participants should go directly to the registration form.
In our example, since the prize is resolved directly upon completing the form, we answer that we don’t want any game:
The agent confirms the mechanics and moves on to the next question in the block. It asks if you want participants to upload any photo or video when registering (for example, for a visual challenge) or if you prefer that no files are uploaded.
2.5.2. Access conditions.
The agent asks about the access conditions: if there will be any restrictions to participate. Depending on the type of campaign, it may offer options such as private code, purchase ticket, or no restrictions.
In our case, as it is an open lead generation campaign, there is no access restriction:
2.5.3. Participation frequency.
The agent asks about the participation frequency and indicates what is usual and recommended for your type of campaign.
In our case, we follow the recommendation and limit it to one participation per person:
2.5.4. Prize configuration.
The agent moves on to the prizes block. The content of this block depends on the type of mechanics and prizes you have defined for your campaign.
Before defining the prize details, it asks if you want help drafting the personalized message the winner will see on their screen or if you prefer to leave it blank and write it later when editing the campaign.
The agent asks if the proposal looks good or if you want to change anything. In some cases, it will use your answers to suggest adding additional mechanics or features to your campaign.
2.5.5. Registration form.
Once the prize details are confirmed, the agent moves on to define the registration form. In our example, based on the initial message, it has selected the fields name and email, and asks if we confirm these or want to request any additional data.
2.5.6. Legal terms and acceptance checkboxes.
With the form fields saved, the agent moves on to the legal terms block. It retrieves what was indicated in the initial message (acceptance checkbox for legal terms/privacy policy, and optional newsletter subscription checkbox) and confirms that these are already set and activated in the configuration.
It asks if you want it to draft a complete version of the legal texts. In our example, we only want the checkboxes activated and will upload the legal texts later in the editor.
2.6. Review the summary and create the campaign.
Once all blocks are covered, the agent presents a complete summary with all the configuration and asks if you want to create the campaign now or prefer to change any detail. If everything is correct, click "Create campaign with this information".
Upon confirmation, the "Campaign Summary" screen opens with all the agreed configuration. If you want to correct anything, click "Return to chat to correct" and continue chatting with the agent until you adjust the details you need. If everything is correct, click "Create campaign".
From here, you can click "Continue editing the campaign" to access the usual editing tools and keep adjusting any detail (for example, upload your own legal texts, review the visual design, or add images).
You will find your new campaign in the main campaign list. By dates, it will most likely appear within the scheduled campaigns block until its start date arrives.
3. Other specifications.
The agent progresses by blocks and can skip questions that are already answered by the context you have previously given. These are reflected in the "Questions skipped during the chat" section of the final summary so you can check that no important data has been missed.
Nothing is saved in your campaign until you confirm creation from the summary screen. If at any time you want to correct something, you can return to the chat and continue adjusting the configuration.
Once the campaign is created, you can continue editing it with Cool Tabs’ usual tools (visual design, images, your own legal texts, etc.).
