1. Introduction.
The Text Catalog is a feature that allows you to edit texts in your campaign that were previously not accessible from the campaign editor, such as action buttons, form fields, or error and validation messages.
It works like an editable glossary. Each entry corresponds to a specific interface text that you can modify as you wish. Additionally, you can create multiple catalogs with different text combinations and assign them to the campaigns you need. In this tutorial, we explain how to set it up.
2. Step by step.
Step 1. Access the Text Catalog
Go to your profile > Settings and click on Text Catalog in the left sidebar menu. If this is your first time accessing it, the section will appear empty. To create your first catalog, click the New catalog button.
Step 2. Create a new catalog
By clicking on New catalog, a form with two fields will open:
Name: give it an identifying name that helps you distinguish it if you have several catalogs. For example, if you are preparing a summer campaign targeted at young people, you can call it "Summer Campaign (18-25)".
Description: an optional field to add a note or clarification about the catalog.
Once completed, click Create catalog to continue.
Once the catalog is created, you will access its editor. You will see two main sections:
Language: select the language in which you want to edit the texts. The platform supports multiple languages, so you can create a customized catalog for each of them.
Texts: here you will find all the platform texts organized by categories. In total, you have 468 editable texts, grouped into:
Form fields
Validation errors and messages
Landing
Email/phone verification
Participation form
Thank you page
Games
Ticket validation
External resolution
Sharing messages
Winners and prizes
Others
You can browse through the categories or use the Search by text search tool to quickly locate the text you want to modify. The My texts tab will show only those you have edited.
Step 3. Edit the texts
You can browse through the categories or use the Search by text search tool to quickly locate the text you want to modify. The My texts tab will show only those you have edited.
For example, if you type "participate," you will see all texts containing that word, organized by category.
Each entry shows the platform's default text in the left column and an editable field on the right where you can write your personalized version. To edit a text, click the pencil icon and enter the new copy. When finished, confirm the change with the validation icon.
For example, the default text "Participate" can become "I WANT MY DISCOUNT!" for a coupon campaign, or "I'm in!" if you want a more casual and friendly tone for your young audience.
Step 4. Manage your catalog
Once created, the catalog will appear in the Text Catalog list with its name, description, and the number of campaigns it is assigned to.
You can return to it at any time to continue editing texts by clicking Edit words, modify its name or description with Edit name, or delete it if you no longer need it with Delete.
Step 5. Assign the catalog to a campaign
Once your catalog is configured, the last step is to assign it to a campaign. From the campaign editor, go to the Text customization section and click Choose catalog to use.
Select the catalog you want to apply, and that's it: all the texts you have customized will be automatically applied to that campaign.
If at any time you want to unlink the catalog, return to this same section and select No catalog in the selector.
