3.2 Default screen for all participants.
3.3 Customized screens based on results.
1. Introduction.
When users complete the participation form of any type of campaign (sweepstakes with a registration form, questionnaire, contest, gamification...) they arrive at a final screen, where they are shown the result they have obtained or are thanked for participating.
These final screens are customizable and allow you to display messages, including your own text, image and/or video, as well as your own HTML. In this way, you can configure different thank you or result screens depending on the content you want to show to the user.
In addition, you can associate that final screen with the distribution of prizes and/or downloadable documents.
2. Ideas and examples.
Here are some examples of final screens that you can configure, depending on the campaign you create.
- A personality quiz in which the user displays one or another final screen according to the majority of marked answers in a category. You can see an example in the following quiz: Which Hogwarts house do you belong to?
- A quiz based on points in which the user gets one message or another according to the number of correct answers. You can see an example in the following quiz: Do you know how to spell these words correctly?
- A Scratch & Win campaign in which you give away prizes instantly. Winning users will be shown a final screen announcing that they have won and what their prize is. All other participants will be shown a default image of non-winners.
- A 'Choose your favorite' type voting contest, where users vote for their favorite product. On the final screen, they are shown, for example, a 'Thank You' message and a discount voucher.
3. Step by step.
3.1. Types of final screens.
The final screen setting will depend on the type of campaign you want to create.
To start customizing the final screen, go to the 'Final Screen' section of the campaign editor.
You will be able to configure:
- A default screen for all participants.
- Customized screens according to the points obtained in a quiz or gamification, the category (personality test), or the code entered by the participant.
In addition, you have the option to display, on the final screen, a downloadable file that you want to give to the participants.
See the tutorial: How to set up the download of a coupon or other document after participation.
3.2. Default screen for all participants.
Configures the same message, by default, for all users. This screen will only be displayed to participants who are not shown a customized screen by points (gamification and points quiz), category (personality quiz) or Instant Win.
- If you only want to include an image or creative on the final screen, in the 'Content' tab of the 'Final Screen' section, check the box 'Display an image in the final screen after the participant has completed the form' and upload your image.
- If you want to show text, enable the option 'Display this default final screen to participants'. When you check the checkbox, an editor will open in which you can include text, images, GIFs, or HTML. The editor also supports images, so, if you wish, you can have two images in a complementary way, here and in the specific field for uploading an image.
3.2.1. Point-based campaigns.
Please note that, in campaigns with points (quizzes and gamifications), in order for the final screen to show the total score obtained by the participant, in the 'Quiz' section > 'Entries page' tab, you have to check the option 'Display participants' own scores'.
3.3. Customized screens based on results.
Another option is to display different screens based on the score obtained in a quiz or game, on the majority category selected in a quiz, or on the code entered.
Keep in mind that, the custom screens option is compatible with the option to display an image on the final screen.
To configure this type of personalized final screens, check the option 'Display a customized final screen depending on gamifications, quiz results (point or personality tests) or validated coupon' and then click on 'Individual Final Screen Management'.
Click on the 'Add new screen' button to add as many screens as you need to configure.
3.3.1. Customization of individual final screens.
Finally, complete the information for each screen.
Data and conditions
Depending on the type of campaign you have created, different sections will appear in the 'Data and Conditions' section.
1) Quiz by points or gamifications.
Indicates the minimum and maximum score that the participant must obtain to see that screen. For example, a results screen for those who score from 0 to 4 points, another for 5–8 points, and a final screen for 9–10 points.
In order for you to be able to set a maximum and minimum score, you must have the option 'Quiz with points for correct answers' activated in the 'Quiz with points for right answers' in the 'Quiz' section.
In addition, in order to show the total score obtained, in the 'Entries page' tab of the 'Quiz' section, you must check the option 'Display participants' own scores'.
2) Quiz with categories.
Indicates the category that the participant had to mark the most in order to see that screen. For example, in a personality quiz with four answer options per question, there will be four categories: A, B, C and D.
Please note that for the option to configure categories to appear, you must have activated the option 'I want to create a personality test' in the 'Quiz' section.
3) Campaigns with code validation.
Write the code that the participant had to enter to see this screen.
Please note that in order for the option to configure codes to appear, you must have code validation activated in the 'Validation' section.
Design
In the 'Design' section, you can customize the results screen, including a message composed of text, images, and/or GIFs. You can also include HTML.
In the following image, you can see an example of how one of the results screens of a personality quiz would look like.
In the customized final screens, you can also configure the text and image that will be shared on social networks, when the participant, after completing the campaign, clicks on the 'Share' button.
