1. Introduction.

In your Cool Tabs campaigns, you can add a field to the participation form to ask participants to upload a file.

This way, they will need to attach a file (PDF, Word, Excel…) in order to complete their participation in the campaign.

You can configure this in two ways: as a field in the custom form, or as a quiz question.

2. Step by step.

2.1. Option A: Custom form.

1) Go to the 'Custom entry form' section in the campaign editor.

2) Click the 'Add question' button.

3) In the 'Basic data' tab, add a text in the 'Question' field so participants know they need to upload a file. You can give them guidance on the accepted file type, either in the question or as a description.

Don't forget to check the 'Required' box.

4) Go to the 'Answer' tab and select the answer type 'The participant must upload a file (PDF, Word, Excel, ...)'.

Below you can see an example of how the data form would look.

2.2. Option B: Quiz question.

1) Go to the Quiz > Set up the quiz section.

2) Add a new question and include the question text to let participants know they need to upload a file. You can give them guidance on the accepted file type.

3) Go to the 'Answer' tab and select the answer type 'Upload a file (PDF, Word, Excel...)'.
