2.2. Set your quiz questions and answers.
1. Introduction.
The logic jumps feature lets you create a quiz with questions that are conditioned by users' answers. This lets you build a sudden-death quiz, where only users who answer correctly continue through the quiz. If a participant gets an answer wrong, they lose and have the option to return to the starting point to try the quiz again.
2. Step by step.
2.1. Create your campaign.
Before setting up the quiz, create your campaign and define its basic settings. If it's your first time using Cool Tabs, this tutorial shows you how to configure the basic sections of a campaign and the settings we recommend for it to work properly:

2.2. Set your quiz questions and answers.
For the sudden-death mechanic to work, you first need to set up a points-based quiz and save your changes:
1) Go to the 'Quiz' section.
2) Check the 'Quiz with points for right answers. I want to assign points for answering correctly' option.
3) Add and customize your quiz questions and answers.
You don't need to assign points to the correct answers, except for the last question in the quiz — there, the correct answer must be assigned 1 point. This is necessary so that a participant who completes the quiz sees a different final screen from the one shown to those who fail. The next section explains how to set up those final screens.
Later, when you enable branching, you'll be able to define the path each participant follows. Since this is a sudden-death quiz, a correct answer automatically moves the participant to the next question; an incorrect one redirects them to the final "You failed" screen.
2.3. Set the final screens.
2.3.1. Default failure screen.
In the 'Final Screen' section, configure the screen that will be shown by default to participants who don't answer correctly.
This screen will also appear if you activate a time limit to answer and the user doesn't respond within that time.
If you want to give participants who fail a chance to try the quiz again, go to the 'Advanced' tab and enable 'Display a button to join the campaign again'.
2.3.2. Custom success screen.
You also need to set up the custom screen that will be shown to participants who complete the quiz successfully:
1) Enable 'Display a customized final screen depending on gamifications, quiz results (point or personality tests) or validated coupon'.
2) Click 'Individual final screen management'.
3) Add a new screen.
4) Give it a name to identify it, then complete the design with the image, GIF, and/or text you want to show the participant.
5) Set a minimum score of 1, which is what participants need to reach to see this screen.
2.4. Set the branching.
Once your quiz is ready, go to the 'Logic Jumps' section of your campaign edition, enable it, and click 'Questions flow management'.
You'll see the screen split in two: on the left, the 'Logic jumps editing' panel, where you'll configure the crossroads; on the right, the diagram you're creating, which is very useful for visualizing the quiz.
Since this is a sudden-death quiz, a correct answer automatically moves participants to the next question. If they fail, they'll be redirected to the final "Failed" screen you configured by default.
For example: if a participant is asked "What is the capital of Brazil?" and answers correctly with "Brasília", they'll move to the next question ("What is the capital of Bulgaria?"). If they answer "São Paulo", they'll see the final failure screen.
3. Other specifications.
The logic jumps feature is only available in the Diamond plan and has an additional cost.
