1. Introduction.

In the Gold and Diamond plans, you can set a time limit for answering.

This feature allows you to set both a time limit to answer one or several questions and a time limit to complete the form.

By activating this functionality, you want the user to answer the questions as soon as possible because, for example, you want to prevent them from searching for the answers, or you want to reward the fastest ones.

2. Step by step.

2.1. Time limit to complete a campaign.

This first option allows you to limit the time to complete the whole campaign and to fill in, if any, the personal data form.

To set the time limit for completing a campaign, go to the 'Entry form' section of the campaign editor. In the 'Advanced' tab, you will find the field 'Time limit to complete the form'.

Type in the maximum time, in seconds, that users will have to respond.

The participant will see the remaining time to complete the campaign displayed at the top.

What happens if the user does not complete the campaign on time? There are two possible scenarios:

1) The user takes longer than the indicated time.

When they complete the quiz, they will see a message indicating that they have exceeded the time limit.

In this case, their participation will be pending moderation for you to approve or reject it from the participations list.

In the participations list, you will see the users who did not complete the form on time and, from the 'Status' column, you will be able to approve or reject them.

2) The user closes the window and tries again later.

If the time limit has not expired, they will be able to complete their participation normally. However, if the maximum time has already passed, the situation is the same as in the previous case: their participation will remain pending moderation.

2.2. Time limit to answer a question.

This second option allows you to set a time limit for answering the quiz questions.

This functionality is configured in the 'Quiz' section. When you add a new question, in the 'Advanced' tab, you will find the option 'Time limit in seconds to answer this question'.

You only have to include the time, in seconds, that the user will have to answer the question you have defined.

3. Other specifications.

Note that the time limit functionality is incompatible with campaigns without a data form. The reason is that, if the time you have configured runs out and the countdown reaches 00:00, the participation remains pending moderation, so that the administrator acts as moderator and decides whether to approve the participation. If there is no user data, there will be no way to confirm the participation.
