1. Introduction.
Cool Tabs allows you to generate interactive content campaigns (contests, quizzes...) in which, in order to participate, users have to register with a social network.
Here's how to enable social login in your campaign.
2. Step by step.
You can see the registration through the social networks in the 'Registration' section of the campaign edition.
You can enable the social networks of your choice among Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram*, LinkedIn, Google/Gmail, Microsoft/Hotmail, and Yahoo.
Furthermore, you can choose one, some, or all of them. Whatever you prefer.
Keep in mind that when registration from social networks is allowed, only the viral actions of users who have registered with their Facebook profile and who share the campaign on Facebook or their participation on the wall are counted. They are not counted in other social networks. For users who register in the campaign with other social networks (LinkedIn or Google), you will only be able to know the number of referrals, i.e. the number of users who have participated in the campaign through them.
*Instagram login
Currently, Instagram only allows login as a registration option in campaigns for professional accounts or content creators. This means that users must have a professional Instagram account to participate in campaigns using Instagram login.
If you are planning a photo or video contest on Instagram, in which users must log in with Instagram to be able to select a post from their profile, it is advisable, given the limitation of use for business accounts, not to use the registration option with Instagram.
Instead, you can use the "Ask the participant to select one of their Instagram posts" option. Participants connect to their Instagram account through the participation form to select their posts.
3. Other specifications.
The Cool Promo and Cool Promo White Label applications, included in the Gold and Diamond plans, respectively, allow you to enable social login.
